How To Shred Cabbage ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") respects the intellectual property rights of others and is committed to complying with U.S. copyright law, specifically the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). This policy outlines the procedures for reporting alleged copyright infringement and for filing counter-notifications if your content has been removed due to a mistaken claim.

We will respond to notices of alleged infringement that comply with the DMCA and other applicable laws.

Filing a DMCA Infringement Notification

If you believe that any material on our site infringes upon any copyright which you own or control, you may submit a written notification of such infringement to our Designated Copyright Agent, provided it contains substantially the following information:

  1. An electronic or physical signature of the person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright's interest.
  2. A description of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed.
  3. A description of where the material that you claim is infringing is located on the site, sufficient to permit us to locate the material.
  4. Your address, telephone number, and email address.
  5. A statement by you that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement by you, made under penalty of perjury, that the above information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf.

DMCA Counter-Notification

If you believe that your content was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may send us a counter-notification. For your counter-notification to be effective, it must be a written communication provided to our Designated Copyright Agent and include substantially the following:

  • Your physical or electronic signature.
  • Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed or access to it was disabled.
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material to be removed or disabled.
  • Your name, address, and telephone number.
  • A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located, or if your address is outside of the United States, for any judicial district in which How To Shred Cabbage may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notification or an agent of such person.
